Providing resources to grow spiritually.
Providing resources to grow spiritually.
Jesus compared the lost world to a white harvest. Agriculturally speaking, when a field is white, it means that it is ready to be harvested. When a stalk of a grain field is fully grown, it is white as far as the eye can see. If these grain fields were not harvested, their crop would eventually die and be of no use to anyone or anything.
Our Lord desired that His disciples know the situation that lies before them as well as their mission. Countless people in the world are lost and in danger of dying in their sins. They are in need of a spiritual harvest. And that harvest can only be brought about through the proclamation of God’s word. White Harvest Ministries was created in order to raise up disciples, equipped and ready to go into the harvest. This is done through our annual discipleship conference as well as teaching through our blog postings and our podcast.
This is just the beginning. By God’s grace, we hope to expand White Harvest Ministries in the coming years to be a mighty scythe in the hands of the Lord, bringing many to salvation and sending even more harvesters into the field.
“Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’?
Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.”
John 4:35
Each year White Harvest is hosting an annual conference with well known speakers on a variety of topics. This year the conference is on the "How to Study the Bible" and will feature Gabe Hughes and Scott Aniol. The event will be hosted by Foothills Community Church.
White Harvest is a podcast designed to edify and equip the local church for the task of making disciples. On occasion, there will be specials such as the Beyond the Pulpit series. The podcast is hosted by Pastors Charlie Parish and Zac Skilling.

Jim Osman was born in May of 1972 and has lived in Sandpoint since he was three years old. He graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1990. Jim came to know Christ through the ministry of Cocolalla Lake Bible Camp in the summer of 1987. Kootenai Community Church has always been his home church, attending Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Youth Group.
After graduating from High School, Jim attended Millar College of the Bible in Pambrun, Saskatchewan. It was at Bible College that Jim met his wife-to-be, Diedre, who was also enrolled as a student. Jim graduated with a three year diploma in April of 1993 and married Diedre in August of that same year. He returned to Millar to further his education in September of 1994 and graduated from the Fourth Year Internship Program with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Ministries in April of 1995. Jim and Diedre returned to Sandpoint where Jim began working in construction as a roofer until he was asked to take over as the preaching elder of Kootenai Community Church in December of 1996. Now he counts it his greatest privilege to be involved in ministering in the church that ministered to him for so many years. Learn more about Jim at https://jimosman.com/
